Fly4Cast RC2 v0.8.1-beta — the pairing QR, fixedrc2app
- The pairing QR is bigger and now uses a higher error-correction level, so a phone camera reads it off the controller's glossy screen far more easily. Reported by a pilot whose reader simply would not scan it.
- The pairing card is now sized from the screen it is on instead of a fixed size, so it can no longer overflow and cut the QR off on a shorter display.
- No placeholder QR any more: while the pairing is still being requested the plate stays blank, so you can never scan a code that carries nothing.
- The landscape layout no longer clips on short screens — the GPS/Settings row, the SIGNAL block and the instrument values all stay fully visible. Rotating the controller keeps an open pairing alive instead of cancelling it.

Takeoff check on mobile + a light theme for sunlightmobileapp
- The full Takeoff check is now on the iOS and Android apps too: a go / caution / no-go verdict with a pass-count, wind & light guidance and a suggested flight time, plus a tap-to-expand list of every check — gusts vs your drone's limit, surface & altitude wind, precipitation, visibility, cloud base, temperature, Kp, GNSS satellites, reachable range, airspace / no-fly, GPS jammers, air traffic and light.
- New Light / Dark / Auto appearance setting (Settings → Appearance). The light theme is built for reading the app outdoors in bright sunlight.

Clearer beta sign-up + RC2 streams to your phonemobilelive
- Joining the beta is clearer now: sign up, mark your device, and give the email tied to your App Store (Apple ID) or Google Play account — we add you to the closed test and send the invite. You can't download it straight from the store; we have to add you to the list first.
- The Fly4Cast RC2 companion now streams your drone's live telemetry to your phone app too, not just the web cockpit.

A simpler first run — set up step by stepappui
- New pilots now start with a clean, guided setup instead of the whole app at once: first pick your take-off location on the map, then add your drone — and the rest unlocks from there.
- The full-screen cockpit also sends you straight to location setup with one tap when none is set yet.

Fly4cast for iPhone — now in TestFlight betamobilelive
- Fly4cast is now a native iOS app, in open TestFlight beta — a full twin of the Android app and the website: weather & flyability, wind at altitude, the camera/ND advisor, the hazard map and the live RC2 cockpit.
- New on iOS: a Live Activity with Dynamic Island support that shows your flight on the Lock Screen while you're up, and a Home Screen widget (small, medium or large) with your conditions at a glance — score, wind, gust, rain and the hourly/daily outlook.
- Join the beta from the Mobile page or directly at testflight.apple.com/join/jB7zbHqP. Everything stays in sync with the web and Android — your drones, gear, checklists and logbook follow you everywhere.
- The Mobile page now gives iOS and Android equal billing.

Pro is free for life if you join before 1 Oct 2026accountlive
- Paid plans begin on 1 October 2026. Until then Fly4cast stays fully unlocked — and anyone who upgrades to Pro (free) before that date keeps Pro free for life.
- After launch, Pro will be $9.99/mo; Studio, for teams and operators, will be $19/mo. The pricing on the site now makes the launch offer and the start date clear.
- Nothing you set up now disappears when paid plans start — your account keeps working and you'll be told well in advance.

Invite friends — and watch Fly4cast growaccountcommunity
- Your account now has an invite dashboard: share your code or link, invite by email (in English or Turkish), and see how many pilots you've invited and how many are active.
- The invite email is richer too — it introduces Fly4cast and links to the mobile apps, so the people you invite arrive already knowing what it does.
- Fly4cast is free for everyone during launch, and the more pilots who use it, the faster it grows and improves. Thank you for helping.

Fly4cast for Android — now in beta on Google Playmobilelive
- Fly4cast is now a native Android app: weather & flyability, wind at altitude, the camera/ND advisor, the hazard map and a live cockpit for your DJI RC2 — all on your phone.
- It's in an open beta right now. Reply to any Fly4cast email to get the tester link, or check the Mobile page for how to join.
- Everything stays in sync with the website: your drones, gear, checklists and logbook follow you across phone and browser.
- An iOS version is coming soon.

Fly4Cast RC2 v0.8-beta — monitoring-only, clearer Go-Livelivecockpit
- Radio-mode control has been removed — the RC2 companion app is monitoring-only now: it shows the mode but never changes it.
- The signal/GPS guard still warns the moment satellites drop or the link is lost.
- A clearer Telemetry → Go Live flow, plus a new app icon. Download v0.8-beta from Account → API keys → Connected controllers.

Fly4Cast RC2 beta — download it from your accountlivecockpit
- The Fly4Cast RC2 app for your DJI controller is now available to download from Account → API keys → Connected controllers, with SHA-256 checksums and a full step-by-step sideload guide for the RC2.
- The live cockpit now shows link signal and satellite count as live graphs, with a clear green “connected” state — red is reserved for real problems.
- A prominent alert flags GPS jamming/interference the moment satellites drop, and the numbers and map marker glide smoothly between updates.
- If your controller is paired but not streaming yet, the cockpit prompts you to start a flight in the app before you fly.

Live cockpit v2 — signal, radio mode & GPS-jammer eventscockpitlive
- The live cockpit now shows link/signal quality and the radio mode (CE/FCC) alongside altitude, speed, heading and V/S.
- Fast-moving numbers and the map marker now glide smoothly between telemetry frames instead of jumping.
- Possible GPS-jammer events (sudden satellite drops) are flagged live on the map, and you can confirm them as jammers from the flight replay afterwards.

Remote-ID labels fixed for the Mini 3/4/5 Prodrones
- The Mini 5 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Mini 3 Pro are no longer shown as “RID-free” — on current firmware they broadcast Remote ID on every battery, even under 250 g.
- The RID badge now also reacts to your battery choice: a Plus battery that pushes a drone over 250 g is shown as broadcasting.

Watch your flight live in the cockpit — Fly4Cast RC2cockpitlive
- Pair the Fly4Cast app on your DJI RC2 to your account and your drone's telemetry streams straight into the web cockpit — position, altitude, speed, heading, GPS and more, live.
- When you land, the flight is saved to your logbook automatically with a full replay — no file exports needed.
- Watch your own flight, or have another pilot follow along with you in real time.
6 Aug 2026
Share a flight with anyonelogbook
- Any saved flight can get a public share link — whoever you send it to can watch the replay (path, altitude/speed playback and stats) with no login.
- Turn sharing on or off per flight from your logbook.
5 Aug 2026
Cockpit overhaul — live traffic & a 24-hour forecastcockpitweather
- Live air traffic now shows real, altitude-coloured aircraft that point their heading, on a wide map that reloads as you pan and zoom.
- New aircraft cards flag anything low that's closing on your area, with its altitude, climb/descent and closest-approach distance.
- The next-24-hours outlook is now a clean wind & gust graph with your drone's wind limit, plus tappable hourly cards.
4 Aug 2026
Guided post-flight reviewcockpit
- After landing, the cockpit now asks one question at a time — how the flight went, how accurate the forecast was, any hazards, and your ratings.
- Save your take-off point as a private flyspot in one tap, and flag a GPS-jamming hazard to report it.
- Range estimates now account for the climb and descent, not just cruise.
3 Aug 2026
Expert exposure modecamera
- New Expert exposure panel in Camera: lock any of aperture / shutter / ISO and leave the rest blank.
- It fills the missing dials, tells you the matching ND filter, and how many stops over- or under-exposed you are for the live light — reverse of the recommend-only mode.
3 Aug 2026
Autel drones + a Remote-ID badgedronesrid
- Added Autel Robotics: EVO Nano+, EVO Lite+, EVO II Pro V3 and EVO Max 4T — pick them under the Autel brand.
- New Remote-ID badge on every drone: sub-250 g is exempt (recreational), and it warns when a Plus battery pushes you over 250 g so Remote ID kicks in.
- In the cockpit, a Remote ID box reads off your selected drone.
3 Aug 2026
Cockpit — Start Flight, timer & post-flight reviewcockpit
- New Start Flight button: it re-checks any unticked pre-flight items and shows them, then starts once you confirm — logging your take-off spot and time.
- A live in-flight timer while you fly.
- End the flight to get a post-flight card: add the spot to Flyspots, upload the log, run the post-flight checklist, and tell us how it went — with star ratings for the app and your own flying.
- The live traffic radar is now a real map with a rotating radar sweep — nearby aircraft as arrows coloured by altitude, and you as the blue dot.
3 Aug 2026
Flyspots — a map of where pilots actually flyflyspotsmapscommunity
- New Flyspots map: browse community take-off spots with notes and access/parking tips.
- Add your own spots — public for the community, or private just for you (only you ever see private ones).
- Turn any saved flight's take-off into a flyspot in one tap from your Flight logs.
- Street / Satellite / Hybrid layers on the flyspots map too.
3 Aug 2026
Flight logbook — stats, one map, animated playbacklogsmaps
- New Logbook overview on your Flight logs: total flights, air time, distance flown and aircraft used, filterable by year.
- All your flights — take-off points and routes — on a single map, with a filter for each year.
- Every map now has Street / Satellite / Hybrid layers.
- Flight playback: a play button animates the track, with a live speedometer, heading compass and a synced altitude/speed graph so you can see exactly where you sped up or climbed.
3 Aug 2026
New drones, clearer picker & legal polishdronesuilegal
- Added DJI Avata 360, DJI Matrice 4T and AntiGravity A1 to the drone list.
- New brand → category → model drone picker — pick the brand first, then the category, then the exact model.
- Flight Cockpit: wind radar and live traffic radar now sit side by side, and all cockpit text is readable on the dark theme.
- Data sources & credits added in-app and in the legal page, including full openAIP attribution and a thank-you.
- Trademark notices for DJI and AntiGravity / Insta360.
2 Aug 2026
Flight Cockpit & feedbackcockpitfeedback
- Flight Cockpit — a full-screen page with auto-verified conditions, wind radar, live traffic radar and pre/post-flight checklists.
- In-app feedback button so pilots can send ideas and bug reports directly.
- Softened the approaching-aircraft alert (pulses a few times, then holds a steady outline).
